What is the RX Program
PAGOSA SPRINGS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
DISCOUNT PRESCRIPTION SAVINGS CARD PLUS BENEFITS PROGRAM
Every year Americans spend over $200 Billion dollars on prescription drugs and the numbers continue to rise. Unfortunately, nearly 50 Million people have no healthcare benefits to assist them with their share of this enormous cost.
Pagosa Springs Chamber of Commerce RX Card answers this terrible concern in a very direct and special way by helping to make prescription drug costs more affordable for every American through our FREE / AT NO COST Discount Prescription Savings Card.
The RxCard Benefits:
- The RXCard was designed to give Americans, particularly those with limited or no prescription insurance coverage, access to discounts for their medications. However, the program can also be used by people who have health insurance coverage with no prescription benefits, which is common in many health savings accounts (HSA) and high deductible health plans.
- The program is designed to help patients nationwide who do not have prescription drug coverage or who have coverage but are subject to large deductibles, large co-pays, formulary limitations, dosing limitations, gaps, and/or any cash out-of-pocket expenses.
- The program is unique and absolutely FREE / AT NO COST to everyone and provides savings of up to 80% off the prescription drugs retail price with an average savings around 30%. The RXCard program covers all FDA approved brand name and generic prescription medications. This program even covers some pet medications that are available at participating pharmacies.
- Membership to the RXCard Program has NO restrictions. There is no income, age, pre-existing condition, deductible, premiums or waiting period restrictions and no applications / no forms to fill out.
- The RXCard is accepted at over 52,000 national and regional pharmacies around the country. (CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, Costco, Target, Safeway, etc.)
- There is NO COST to use this card or program and it is not intended to replace an existing prescription program, it can be used as a supplement.
- This card can also be used by individuals who do not qualify for publicly funded programs such as Medicaid and Medicare. However, the RXCard can be used for these deductibles and if you enter the “donut hole”.
- This program is being funded through the support of pharmaceutical companies and pharmacies.
