Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership’s 2024 Environmental Film Festival celebrates spring. Each year since 2013, GGP has produced a fun and educational film event for the Pagosa Springs community.
Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership is truly a partnership. Local governments, businesses, schools, and numerous volunteers contribute support to the donation-driven nonprofit. The 501(c)3 organization uses donations to drive its operations in Centennial Park, to provide educational experiences for all ages, and to beautify the San Juan River Walk.
Some films will be shown twice, so that all environmental film enthusiasts have a chance to see each film. Saturday’s schedule of films is shown here in order:

On May 4th attend our annual community-wide clean-up event followed by a free BBQ for volunteers and homemade ice cream contest (in honor of Larry Fisher) 9am-1pm. We look forward to seeing you!

Chimney Rock National Monument lies within the San Juan National Forest, between Pagosa Springs and Durango, encompassing 4,726 acres, preserving hundreds of prehistoric sites that dot the landscape around the twin spires. A sacred place that celebrates the life of Ancestral Puebloans over 1000 years ago.

Join Habitat for Humanity of Archuleta County as we celebrate the kickoff off of year 3 of our campaign to build 15 homes in 5 years! This is an opportunity to get your heart rate up after a long winter as well as learn more about how Habitat Archuleta supports workforce homeownership in Archuleta County. Please register. $25. 10am.
Lickety-Split and Friends IMPROV @ Pagosa Center for the Arts
Lickety-Split Improv Comedy Saddle Up and Laugh is a comedy and improvisation group founded by veteran performers Karisa Bruin and Scott Morehead (and joined by friends) bringing high-level, professional comedy to Pagosa Springs. This show will appropriate for ages 16 and up. Doors and bar open at 7pm. $10. 7:30-8:30pm.

This new musical is the story of a part-time bartender, part-time singer, and full-time charmer named Tully who thinks he's got life all figured out until a beautiful career-minded tourist steals his heart and makes him question everything. May 31 - August 31. 7pm.
Life at Chimney Rock Festival 2024 @ Chimney Rock National Monument
Family-Oriented Festival is held at Chimney Rock's Visitor Center area. Learn about the skills of the ancients from Chimney Rock volunteers. Try yucca pounding, make a clay pot, design a pictograph, weave a textile, grind corn, throw a spear with an atlatl. Visit with presenters who will share the importance of astronomy and dendrochronology. Native American arts and crafts for sale. 970-883-2455 or 970-731-7133. 10am-4pm.
