Sourrounded by over 3 million acres of national forest and wilderness areas, you’ll find yourself in the center of nature’s playground in Pagosa Springs.  With the San Juan Mountains and a variety of outdoor activities at your doorstep, along with hot springs, charming shops, historic sites, and an assortment of artisans, you'll find plenty to do in Pagosa.

Sledding in Pagosa Springs is a favorite activity for many during the winter months.  There are many possible sledding hills - such as the golf course, Reservoir Hill, near the parking area at Lobo Overlook, or pretty much any other hill you come across. Just make sure you aren't on private property or you have permission from the property owner.
