Sombrilla Springs is a one-of-a-kind mountain destination for glamping, events and weddings located just outside beautiful Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Our centerpiece — a dairy barn originally built in 1932, doubles as our glamping hub and event venue. We initially restored it ourselves — adding modern amenities while retaining its rustic charm. Then, in Sept 2021, HGTV’s Building Roots put their stunning touch on it too! It’s a truly unique and breathtaking venue for your vacation, mountain wedding or event of any kind — friend and family reunions, glamping groups, yoga retreats, weddings and anniversaries. You name it, we’ll make it happen! Behind the Sombrilla Springs barn — in a stunning aspen grove that overlooks the pasture, valley, barn and surrounding mountains — we offer beautifully appointed, walk-in glamping tents that sleep a total of 34. They're ideal for couples, families, friends, wedding, group retreat and event guests that love the feel and beauty of camping, but enjoy pillow-topped mattresses and luxury linens over sleeping bags. Our tents sleep 5-6 on queens and twins, and one sleeps 2 on a king.
