76th Annual Red Ryder Roundup Rodeo @ Western Heritage Event Center
A traditional American rodeo is a must see event. Authentic cowboys and cowgirls from various states compete for prizes and prize money in this sanctioned rodeo series. The event is also filled with a variety of exhibition events to make an entertaining affair. Fun for all ages! Rodeo Events: Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Ranch Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Calf Roping, Steer Wrestling, Open Team Roping, Scrambled Egg Team Roping, Ladies Breakaway, Barrel Racing, Junior Barrels, Junior Bull Riding. 6pm

Riders face the challenge of bulls, broncs, barrels, and ropes, while fans experience the excitement that only a small-town Colorado rodeo can deliver. It's a weekly summer tradition filled with energy, pride, and the spirit of the Rockies.

The Art of Nature - Patterns In Our World, Nature and Journaling @ Reservoir Hill
Unplug, connect and discover the hidden geometry and patterns found throughout nature with the SJMA and Colorado State University (CSU)'s Archuleta County Extension. During this guided hike participants will observe how nature unfolds in beautiful and artistic patterns all around us and have the opportunity to practice nature journaling along the way.
