Holiday Lights Tour & Contest

Once again, the Pagosa Springs area will be bright with holiday cheer this season. The Pagosa Springs Area Tourism Board and The Pagosa Springs SUN are sponsoring a lighting contest this holiday season. The lighting contest will make the holiday season shine. It includes enhanced lighting in downtown Pagosa as well as many other festive events taking place in and around the Pagosa Springs area November 28th through the end of December.
The tour includes homes, businesses and window displays this year. Grab the Visit Pagosa Springs App from your app store of choice (iOS or Android) and look for the Holiday Lights Tour under the Tours Section. Once you find it, hit the Map It button. You’ll find all entries conveniently mapped for you! Holiday Light Tour participants will have their lights on from 6-8pm every evening from November 28th through December 31st.

Chimney Rock Through the Ages Morning Tour @ Chimney Rock National Monument
Chimney Rock Through the Ages Tour explores both the natural and cultural history of the area through geologic time and incorporates the anthropology and archeology of the Puebloan people. 8am. Cost: $10 Kids / $20 Adults.
Meet your guide at the Native Plant Garden at the Riverwalk Wetlands Tour sign. Tours last 1-1.5 hours. Wheelchair accessible. No dogs. Free. Bring water, hats, sunscreen, and bug spray. No reservations required. Tours are weather dependent. 8am.
Pagosa Farmers Market @ St Patrick's Episcopal Church
The Pagosa Farmers Market operates every Saturday from June 6th thru the end of September from 9am to noon. Find us behind St. Patrick's Episcopal Church on South Pagosa Blvd.
Artisan & Makers Market @ East Side Market
Our market features a great selection of handmade merchandise direct from local craftsmen, including organic soaps and lotions, handmade clothing, jewelry, fine woodwork, handcrafted pottery, Indian jewelry and pottery, and metal art. We also have fresh baked bread, cookies and pies, raw honey, and Four Corners Spices. 9am-3pm. Live Music with Mike Silberhorn 11am-2pm.

Food, Beverages, and Live Music with Sweet River Band. 9am-12pm.
Great House Tour @ Chimney Rock National Monument
Great House Tour (daily and family friendly) goes to the top of the mesa ridge for a 360-degree panoramic view of the landscape and a close-up of the two pinnacles with stops along the way to learn about the ancient Puebloan structures. 10:30am. Cost: $10 Kids / $20 Adults.
Sound Journey @ The Edge of Silence
No reservations required, however Eventbrite ticket holders are considered reservations. Tickets at the door are $30 each. Sound Journey is 1 hour. Feel free to bring your own Yoga mats, blankets and neck pillows, however we usually have what you need. Don't have an Eye Mask? We have them for sale. 1pm. Arrive 20 min early.

BBQ Dinner Rides @ Buckaroos Horse-Drawn Rides
Fill up on a delicious BBQ menu of smoked beef brisket sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, chips, lemonade, and s'mores around the campfire. Includes scenic wagon ride, live guitar entertainment, outdoor games, and plenty of memories. 6:00-8:00pm. $75 adults $55 children 3-16, free under 3. Advanced reservations required.
