17 years ago, when we started Higher Grounds, we did so with not only a passion for good coffee, but more importantly, a passion for this community. What we wanted a place of gathering, and a place of discovery. From the latest trends in premium coffee to the handcrafted work of local artisans, we set out to create an environment like no other in the small town of Pagosa Springs. Now, as we round over 17 years of serving the very best coffee, featuring fresh in-house baked goods, and hosting our local community, we're proud to have created something so much more than a coffee shop.
